The Board of Trustees recognizes that school-sponsored trips are an important component of a student's development and supplement and enrich the classroom learning experience. School-sponsored trips may be conducted in connection with the district's course of study or school-related social, educational, cultural, athletic, school band activities, or other extracurricular or co-curricular activities.
This is an educational opportunity for this student to experience the history and culture of London, Paris and Rome first hand. |
|
It is recommended that the Patterson Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees approve the request for travel to Europe for a student and staff of PHS. |

Background: As mandated by Ed Code, the District will have Board approval prior to implementing any Interfund Transfers. These transfers are necessary to change appropriate accounts/programs. Many of these are incorrect coding and/or due to shortage of funds. Issue: Transfer expenditure between the following accounts: See attached backup documentation. |

Rationale Background: The District recently advertised request for bids regarding Classroom Additions at Apricot Valley and Las Palmas Elementary Schools. The District opened bids for Classroom Additions only from company submitted bids. The bids were advertised by the Business Department in accordance with the law. F&H Construction was the selected bidder meeting all the requirements. Issue: The District is committed to enhancing and maintaining our facilities. The district administration would like to move forward with F&H Construction and award the identified project. Bid documents are available in the District business office.
