Any person wishing to speak on a non-agenda item may do so under “Public Comment”. There is a three (3) minute time limitation. By law, board members may not enter into discussion nor take action on any item not previously published on the agenda. Any member of the public wishing to speak on agenda items may do so before action is taken, when recognized by the Board President. Persons wishing to be recognized should complete and sign a request form. Forms are available near the entrance of the meeting room. The completed form should be given to the President of the Board just prior to the start of the meeting. Members of the public who have filled out the forms will be given first priority to speak on the agenda item. After these members have spoken, those members of the public who have not filled out forms may address the agenda item. |
